Designed by Steve Leung, NANA presents its Guangzhou Flagship store: a 150-square-meter residential composition defined by restraint, clarity, and the quiet discipline of contemporary minimalism.

The architectural language is guided by a trace-free design philosophy, where structure and surface merge into a continuous, uninterrupted whole. The spatial sequence is composed with an emphasis on openness and fluidity, allowing light to travel naturally across the interior. A restrained palette of earth tones anchors the atmosphere, while light wood flooring and terracotta-hued cabinetry establish a tactile warmth that tempers the rigor of minimalism.

Material selection is deliberately subtle yet highly controlled. The use of specialized NANA textures such as Nagel and Tacna Dark Gold introduces depth and refinement without visual excess, while the organic character of Alta Brown Oak and Ecuador enriches the sensory experience. These materials are executed through advanced industrial systems, ensuring that every junction, transition, and surface reflects a disciplined construction logic. The result is an environment where industrial precision and natural softness coexist in quiet harmony.

The interior unfolds as a dialogue between iconic design pieces and bespoke architectural systems. In the kitchen, the cabinetry forms a rigorous architectural backdrop for Patricia Urquiola's Almendra Organic lighting, where sculptural illumination becomes an integral spatial element rather than decoration. In the social area, the dune-white Cinder Block sofa by Wendelbo anchors the composition with a sense of weight and repose, reinforcing the space’s calm and grounded character.

The transition into the private domain is marked by an increased sense of stillness. The master suite continues the trace-free aesthetic, integrating the Volage bed and KTribe Floor lamps within a framework of refined wood textures and softened lighting. Here, the language of minimalism becomes more intimate, emphasizing comfort, privacy, and emotional depth.

Through this project, Steve Leung and NANA articulate a vision of contemporary living that is both disciplined and humane. The Guangzhou Showroom as a complete residential prototype—one that demonstrates how industrial precision, architectural order, and poetic restraint can converge to create a timeless and quietly powerful living space.
